This is the working draft of the first issue of the Transition City Brum newsletter.
So far it has been proposed to have a double-sided A3 format, 4 sides. Distributed as much as possible online but with some hard copies left in suitable locations for outreach.

Are you worried about the high price of petrol, electricity and gas - and of food?

Do you want to do something about climate change, but don't know where to start?

Do you want to make Birmingham a better place to live, for yourself - and our children?

The FOOD GROUP is focusing on the Sustainability Forum in the Council House on Monday 13 October from 6.00p.m.
There will be a number of 'round table' workshops with proposed subjects to include:-
city produced foods; educational issues; biofuels; sourcing locally for caterers; health issues; Fair Trade; organic vv local

The network operates two email lists: one is a low-traffic News List for announcements; the other is a Discussion List used for organisational purposes and open debate related to Transition Brum.

To sign up to the low-traffic News list go to https://lists.riseup.net/www/info/transition-brum-news and click the subscribe link on the left hand side of the screen. For the high-traffic Discuss list, go to https://lists.riseup.net/www/info/transition-brum-discuss and click the subscribe link on the left hand side of the screen.

You will then be asked to type in your email address. Any problems, just email us to ask to be added to the list.
